WYLDA Membership
Why join WYLDA?
WYLDA membership is open to third sector organisations and networks in West Yorkshire, and statutory partners. You are able to join WYLDA as a full or an associate member.
The role of sub-regional activity is an important link in the chain of infrastructure development. For example, your work at a district level can feed into WYLDA, which WYLDA can then feed into the regional or national picture via SubNet or the Regional Forum.
Your involvement brings benefits to your organisation and to WYLDA as a whole.
Together WYLDA can:
- Help influence sub-regional policy
- Raise the profile and role of the voluntary and community sector in West Yorkshire
- Lobby on behalf of West Yorkshire VCS organisations
- Advocate on behalf of your service users
- Develop new or expand existing services
- Build partnerships with other organisations and agencies
- Share experiences and pool good practice
- Access new funding
- Prepare for the future sustainability of the third sector in West Yorkshire.
